Author Bio: Dr. K. Parameswaran, holds a PhD in Applied Linguistics, for his thesis entitled The Language of Mass Media: A Study with Specific Reference to Malayalam Radio News Broadcasts from the University of Kerala. Avidly interested in Carnatic Music, reading and setting and resolution of cross word puzzles, Dr. Parameswaran has already published a book of translated short stories entitled Twelve Stories. He is at present working as Assistant Director, Press Information Bureau, Madurai.
