He is an Emeritus Professor at the University of Karnataka where he taught for 16 years in the Departments of Science. At various times, he is a visiting scholar across all over the country.. He has authored many books and research papers, which has been published in some prestigious journals across the country.

He has also published books on biochemistry, physical chemistry, organic chemistry and many others . His works are well appreciated. This present work is an honest attempt to provide students a book on one of the most contemporary topics. This book is the result of his loads of experience and students will find it very useful.
