A scholar in international Relations, Prof. gopal obtained his Ph.D. from Jawaharlal Nehru University. Dennis Rumley is Associate Professor, School of Social and Cultural Studies, University of Western Asutralia. He gained a Ph.d.at the University of British Columbia and has taught at the University of Western Australia since then, apart from 1991-3 when he was professor of Australian studies at the University of Tokyo.
